How can I give?

I am going to challenge myself as well as you to give a little more this year. Give of your self, your time, and or your money.

Try to find ways that you can help others. It can be little or not so little.

I believe that we have been blessed greatly this last year and that one way to show appreciation to our Heavenly Father is to help some of his other children who could use our help.

I can just kick myself because I didn't donate to the swimmers this year because dad had just bought a case of oranges, and they were selling oranges. I could have just donated to them money which would have given them the whole amount. I will do better next year. (I didn't know the girl who came to me but I have learned.)

I feel as if our Father has blessed me so much more than I can ever repay. I will go forth in this new year and do better. That doesn't mean I donate indiscriminately. I often do not donate to those who call but turn around and donate to the church humanitarian fund or education fund because I know that 100% of what I donate goes to people in need.

I hope you will try and think of some way that you can help those around you this year.
