November 19

Have you ever thought what your life would be like if you had been born somewhere else or in another era? I have often thought I would like to live in another time, but when it really comes down to it...

I am grateful to be born in this the Last Days and just hope I can see the second coming. I hope I am strong enough to stay on the straight and narrow, and to endure what is to come. I hope I can always have a positive attitude about the trials I have to go through. I really do believe that thing happen for a reason. Sometimes we cause them to happen with our choices. Sometimes Heavenly Father allows things to happen to prepare us for the things we need to be able to or will have to endure.

Happiness is really an attitude. Some people suffer through a lot and are happy others have thing really nice and are never happy. I hope I can always be the first. Cause when I look at life I have really been blessed.

I hope he knows I am grateful even though I sometimes complain. Maybe I need to quit whining. :)

I am thankful for my life.

November 18

Life seems to speed forward at a faster pace every year.

I used to think that when the babies were grown I would have more time to do the things I wanted to do. Then it was when the school year is over. Now I have come to realize that we have to make or take the time to do the things we want to or the time will never come.

I am thankful for the things I have learned from life and the things I expect to learn in the future.

I am also very!!!! thankful for my daughter-in-laws. I have a friend that told me a nightmare story tonight about hers. It reminded me how fortunate I really am.

I have been thinking a lot about school and the economy. I am thankful for all I have and for the knowledge that if it gets bad enough all my daughters could home school. I hope your schools have less problems than ours, because I believe the social part of school is as important as the academic.
I told Jed that I have enough fabric that if clothes got to expensive my grand kids could look like quilts. :] LOL!

I have been wondering where are they getting all the money for all the bail outs?

More of my heroes from the scriptures are the mothers of the 2000 stripling warriors. I am thankful for their examples. I always wanted to teach my sons so that they would have the faith to say "I know it is true". I'm not sure I did that, but I do believe my sons know it (the Gospel) is true. And for that I am even more thankful
