November 25-29

I am thankful for cars. I would hate to have to walk everywhere. I guess if we didn't have cars maybe we would use horses, but they would be cold in the winter.

I am thankful for missionaries. Without them who knows what we would believe. I am especially thankful for the ones who converted my family and yours.

I am thankful for Grandchildren. Have I said that before? If so I am doubly thankful for them. They love you no matter what :] whether you are tall or short, big or small, smart or not. what a blessing they are to your lives. They keep you young.

I am thankful for Music. Music can affect your mood, your spirit, your attitude, and emotions. I have always wanted to be able to sing or make music. I am thankful for all those who make good music that I can enjoy even though I can't make it.

I am thankful for all the prophets that lived their lives so that they could lead and guide us in the correct paths. I am sure it would have been easier to just do what was easy. Jonah is more my style of obedience ;] ! I am really glad our Father in Heaven is persistent and doesn't give up on us when we chose to make the wrong choices the first time around. I wonder if the acid in the whales stomach bleached his hair? I guess maybe Jonah made that whale have a stomach ache.

Then there is Alma the younger. Just goes to show exactly how much our Father loves us.

I am thankful for black licorice.

I am thankful for so many things I could go on for many more days, but will be content with this for today. Love you all lots.

Oh No!

What can I say? If it weren't for the company Thanksgiving would have been miserable.

The turkey didn't get done on time and had to be partly microwaved. (I did do a microwaved turkey one Thanksgiving.)

My range exploded on us.

The rest of the food was delicious though.

I did miss the rest of the family. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for a husband that spoils me. I will now have a two oven range.

I really haven't run out of things to be thankful for. I guess this will have to be a several day gratitude.

I am thankful for the sun. Besides the fact there would be no food without it. I love to sit in the warm (not hot) sun and just soak up the rays.

I am thankful for Sambo. You could not ask for a better dog. Can't wait to give him a scratch behind the ears and have him sit on my foot. He had a thing about contact comfort I think.

I am thankful for the rain on the roof. I just love to listen to the storm. I even like the lightning and thunder.

I love and am thankful for the feeling of an arm around your back when you pray sometimes. Be still and feel!

I am thankful for the snow. I love the whiteness of it! (Is that a word?) I do not however love the cold. It reminds me of the day I took Jared sleding and threw him off and didn't know it.LOL!!!!

I am thankful for those who stand for the right. There was an excellent editorial in the news paper the other day about gay rights. I honestly feel sorry for them. You can love the person but not the deed!

I am thankful for computers. I love to read your blogs and see the pictures of what you are doing. I think the worst thing about growing older is being isolated from your loved ones. Which reminds me I need to call my mother again.
